How To Make Oreo Balls Step By Step:
- In a food processor or blender, blend together the oreos until you have crumbs.
- Add in the cream cheese and blend until combined.
- Using a cookie scoop, scoop out the dough and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in the freezer for 10-15 minutes until the dough has firmed up. This makes it easier to work with the dough.
- While the oreo truffles are in the freezer, melt the candy melts, white chocolate chips or almond bark.
- Remove the truffles from the freezer, roll each ball of dough out into the shape of a ghost. Then, using a fork, coat the entire truffle, setting back onto the parchment paper. If you are using candy eyes for the eyes, be sure to place them on while the chocolate is still tacky.
- Once you have completed this step allow the chocolate to harden. Once the chocolate is firm use the black writing gel to create the eyes and the mouth.

Can I Freeze Spooky Oreo Balls?
Absolutely! I would advise placing parchment or wax paper between each layer if you plan to stack the balls in a freezer-safe container to prevent sticking. Before serving, allow to thaw at room temperature. These snacks can be frozen for up to two months.
Do These Spooky Treats Need To Be Refrigerated?
These cream cheese-based delights are packed with the chocolatey goodness of everyone’s favorite cookie, and are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth on those chilly October evenings.
Plus, with their ghostly appearance and eerie aura, they’re sure to add a touch of haunting fun to any Halloween celebration. Just be sure to store them in an airtight container in the fridge to keep them fresh and delicious for days to come.
