How To Make The Best Rice Krispies Treats?

  • Melt the butter in a large pot or saucepan using medium heat.
  • After the butter has melted, add in half of the bag of marshmallows and cook until melted. Stir frequently.
  • Take the pan off of the heat and mix in the cereal. Gently stir until it’s almost all the way incorporated and add the rest of the mini marshmallows. Sprinkle in the pop rocks.
  • Use a wooden spoon and continue to mix.
  • Don’t let the last half of the marshmallows melt entirely; you want them to stand out in the treats.
  • Pour the rice crispy mixture into an 8×8 baking dish.
  • Melt the white chocolate and carefully drizzle over the top of the krispie treats.
  • Add a few extra pop rocks on top for a garnish and let them cool completely.

  • 8 cups rice krispies
  • Melted white chocolate
