How To Make Applesauce In An Instant Pot?

  2. Place the wedges in the Instant Pot and add the remaining ingredients. Stir to coat.

Can Applesauce Be Frozen?

Yes, after you cook the applesauce.  I like to use airtight freezer bags to store my applesauce through the winter months.  Fill the bag ¾ full of applesauce.  Then lay the bag on the counter and slowly zip it up while pressing the air out of the bag.  I store them flat in my freezer so they take up less room.  If you’re cooking applesauce for a newborn, you can freeze it in freezer bags, plastic storage containers (like Ziploc or Rubbermaid), or ice cube trays. Are you planning to freeze in glass jars? If so, remember to leave room at the top of the jar for the applesauce to be able to expand properly. Remember to date your bags and jars!

How Long Can You Freeze Applesauce?

Applesauce can be frozen for up to 10 months in an airtight container.

How Long Will Applesauce Last In The Fridge?

Homemade applesauce has a shorter shelf life than store-bought applesauce; it will keep for 4-6 days in the fridge.

So, there you have it.
