Ingredients
- 2 large cans of yams
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ stick butter
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- ⅓ cup flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- ⅓ cup butter (melted)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Using an electric mixer mash the two cans of yams and ½ stick of butter together .
- Add the eggs in one at a time.
- Next pour the sugar and 1 tsp of vanilla.
- Pour mix into a baking dish and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, using a fork mix the brown sugar, flour, pecans and melted butter together. Sprinkle on top of the sweet potato mixture and bake for 30 minutes
