Ingredients – Yukon Gold Potatoes – Butter – Salt – Pepper – Shredded Cheddar Cheese for topping – Sour Cream

Step 1 - Start by cutting the potatoes into bite sized pieces. Place in either a microwave safe dish. On top of the potatoes, dollop 4 tablespoons of soft butter or margarine in random places. Add 1 tsp of salt and ½ tsp of pepper to the top of the potatoes and cover the entire dish with plastic wrap.

Step 2 - Place the dish in the microwave and cook on high for 6 minutes. At the end of 6 minutes remove the dish from the microwave and uncover partially. Stir the potatoes and recover. Place back in the microwave for another 6 minutes.
