Broccoli and cheese – a classic combination that never fails to impress. Add Velveeta into the mix, and you’ve got yourself a match made in culinary heaven.
Cheese Sauce for Broccoli

Ingredients – Unsalted Butter – All Purpose Flour – Milk – Velveeta Cheese, cubed – Garlic Clove, minced – Kosher Salt – Black Ground Pepper
Cheese Sauce for Broccoli
Step 1 - Start by cutting your Velveeta cheese into small cubes. This will help it melt evenly and quickly in the pot.

Step 2 - Prepare a roux – melt the butter and add the flour. Whisk until combined into a paste and allow the flour to cook off for 1 minute.

Step 3- Slowly add in the milk while whisking. Continue to wish over medium high eat for 3-5 minutes until the sauce becomes thick

Step 4 - Next, remove from the heat and add in the velveeta, garlic, salt and pepper. Continue whisking until the velveeta has melted completely and the sauce is smooth.
Feel free to get creative with your Velveeta cheese sauce. You could add minced garlic or onion for extra flavor, or sprinkle in some chili flakes for a bit of heat.
