Zero Sugar Margarita

Yield: 2 drinks

Ingredients

  • 3 oz tequila (We Used Clear)
  • 5 limes
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 teaspoons agave nectar *see note below
  • ½ cup kosher salt *see note below

Instructions

  1. Use a citrus press to squeeze the juice from four limes into a cocktail shaker and cut your 5th lime into wedges for garnishing cocktail glasses.
  2. Measure salt onto a small plate (or into a margarita glass rimmer).
  3. Run the shell of juiced lime around the rim of two 12 ounce cocktail glasses and dip in salt.
  4. Fill each salted glass about halfway full of ice and garnish with a lime wedge.
  5. Add tequila, agave, water and a handful of ice to your cocktail shaker.
  6. Shake for 15-20 seconds.
