Spicy Black Bean Taco Wrap Ingredients:

  • 1 15- oz. can black beans, (drained and rinsed)
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • ½ tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • ¼ tsp. dried oregano
  • 6 Romaine lettuce leaves for wrapping
  • Sea salt and black pepper (to taste)

How To Make Spicy Black Bean Taco Wraps:

  • In a medium Microwave-safe bowl pour in the beans, water, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, cayenne, and oregano. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste, and stir to combine.
  • Place bowl in the microwave and cook around 4-5 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Cook until the beans are warmed through and the spices become fragrant. Remove from microwave and add the finely diced peppers, if using.
  • Sprinkle with additional spices, if desired. Serve immediately with large lettuce leaves for wrapping.
