What Are The Most Healthy Salad Dressings?

When it comes to dressing up your greens, we all have our go-to salad dressings. But let’s face it, not all dressings are created equal in terms of health benefits. If you want to keep your salad on the healthier side, going for a vinaigrette like balsamic or oil and vinegar is a smart choice. These dressings are usually lower in calories and fat, but still give you that tangy flavor you crave.

On the other hand, steer clear of dressings labeled as “creamy” or anything resembling Caesar or ranch. These options tend to be packed with calories, sodium, and unhealthy fats, which can quickly turn your bowl of greens into a not-so-healthy meal. It’s all about making smarter choices without sacrificing flavor.

How Long Does Oriental Chicken Salad Last In The Fridge?

Until you’re ready to serve, keep the salad, dressing, and garnishes separate. In an airtight container, chopped salad lasts for 5 days. Garlic and ginger should be added before serving if the dressing will be kept longer than 2 to 3 days in the refrigerator. In the refrigerator, cooked chicken keeps for three days; it can also be frozen.
